The CSM certificate must be renewed every two years by attending a Scrum Alliance-approved training course, study material, webinar, and volunteer activities, and paying a renewal fee of $100. The PSM certificates do not have to be renewed and do not have a set expiration date but individuals are encouraged to continue their education and professional development in Scrum.
